In 1982 in the small Finnish town of Lahti, horse lover Gunnar Gangsø started with a simple production of horse shoes, horse harnesses and horse rugs. The brand Horze with the significant red ""Z"" is created. The same year, the first online shop at www.horze.no is launched in Norway and announced at the Oslo Horse Show.
