Welcome to UGEARS branded online store in the USA. We are also known as Ukidz Toys and this is our UGEARS branded store format. We are the official distributor/vendor of Mechanical Model kits manufactured by Ukrainian Gears. These amazing 3D Self Assembly models are educational and fun to put together. They can also serve as decorative pieces. Although the kits come with clear step-by-step instructions, they can also be called puzzles as the challenge is always present. Inspired by steampunk fantasy, the clear view of all the moving components, including gears and pendulums, creates a unique, unforgettable, and fascinating look at everyday (and not so everyday) machinery. Many of our wood model designs have been inspired by real-life prototypes, while some of our other designs have been re-imagined from history.

• The Wright brothers got it right. When these talented bicycle mechanics set out to build the world's first motor-driven, heavier-than-air airplane, they needed wings that could provide enough lift, yet be light and strong. They went with a biplane design, seen in early hang gliders. Biplanes have two fixed wings, one on top of the other, connected with supporting struts
• the bracing permits a lighter wing structure. Advances in aviation technology and materials made the biplane obsolete by the late 1930s. Ugears is known for producing beautiful wooden DIY models characterized by a throwback, steampunk sensibility. Lightweight wooden frame for smooth gliding
