Meet Lindsey Paterson. She is a 40 year old woman living in Fife, Scotland, and her passion is her stunning collection of Disney and Jim Shore figurines.

Like so many collectors, Lindsey grew up watching Disney and fell in love with the classic films. Favorites from the Disney classic vault include Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella and Pinocchio.
“My first Disney memory was watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs when was I was five. I watched it for the first time and loved it. It’s become a favorite of mine, and even now, as an adult, I watch it all the time.”

Lindsey's passion is for two lines of Jim Shore pieces, 'Disney Traditions' and 'Disney Showcase' which she started collecting in 2005.
Her first piece was a Beast from Beauty and the Beast, one of her favorite films. The pieces that Lindsey has collected from this film are among her favorite pieces.
"My favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast. I Iove Belle and anything Beauty and the Beast to be honest. I like how independent and free-spirited Belle is. The Beast's castle is one of my favorites. I also collect Disney clothes and jewelry. My phone is wrapped in a beautiful Beauty and the Beast phone case that I picked up."
Living in the U.K., Lindsey often has to search far and wide to find the pieces for her collection.
"I buy my pieces from local shops, as well as online. At times I also have to get them in from America. It's worth it!"
Such a beautiful collection! I want some Disney clothing, too. I wish chain stores had a wider range in adult sizes. Disney is not only for kids, dear stores!
