Stuart Wright has always understood the values of service and dedication. Over 20 years ago, he followed a calling to serve his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. After his term of service, including time spent as a member of the storied 82nd Airborne division, Stuart earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Stuart set out to define his engineering career, and while working as an apprentice in the plastics molding trade he acquired the skills and resources necessary to establish his own company. Soon, Stuart’s passion for the great outdoors combined with his expertise in plastics manufacturing led him to found Bowjax, Inc. As BowJax become established in the archery accessories industry, Stuart realized our competition were using outdated materials that were no longer the most effective at absorbing sound and vibration. Even worse, some of these materials contained chemicals odors capable of driving away trophy game. BowJax experimented with a wide variety of synthetic and odorless elastomers until they determined the best elastomers to manufacture their wide variety of dampeners for the different applications in both compound bows and crossbows.
