Our history begins in 1986,when Peter Handstein founded Hape Kindergarten Supply with his sister in Germany. Following his passion and dream, Peter spent thirty years growing Hape into a worldwide toy brand from a local toy shop. Peter aspires to create a better world with toys, and his overarching philosophy "Love Play, Learn"has been conveyed through Hape's wonderful toy creations.
