Blue Sky Clayworks is a ceramic art studio founded by artist and designer Heather Goldminc. The brand began in 1997 and quickly gained recognition for its charming and whimsical designs inspired by the Canadian countryside where Heather grew up. Heather's passion for ceramics started when she was a child, and she spent most of her time creating pottery and sculptures. She went on to study at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Canada, where she honed her craft. After graduating, Heather moved to Kingston, Ontario, where she started her own ceramics studio. She worked hard to create unique and distinctive designs that stood out in a crowded market. Eventually, her work caught the attention of a giftware company in the United States, and she was commissioned to create a line of ceramics for them. The line was a huge success, and Heather decided to launch Blue Sky Clayworks as her own brand. She moved her studio to California and started working on new designs. Her creations were inspired by her love of nature, and her designs featured animals, flowers, and other natural elements. Blue Sky Clayworks quickly gained a loyal following of collectors and enthusiasts who appreciated the beauty and whimsy of Heather's designs. Heather continued to innovate and create new designs, and the brand grew in popularity. Today, Blue Sky Clayworks is a well-established brand known for its high-quality ceramics and unique designs.
